Restaurant Supervisor

A busy Wellington CBD Chinese Restaurant requires a Restaurant Supervisor. This role involves:
• Supervise efficient working of FOH and BOH teams and assign shifts • Oversee staff’s compliance with all health code and sanitation requirements • Work with staff to project future needs for kitchen supplies, goods, and cleaning products • Maintain inventory of all needed supplies to enhance sales • Supervise workload and ensure effective working of restaurant activities and maintain excellent standards to meet operational expectations • Assist in hiring and training new employees as well as the continuous training of existing staff • Respond to customer complaints quickly and resolve them effectively • Coordinate with team to ensure customer satisfaction and follow company procedures to increase work efficiency • Resolve staff grievances together with Restaurant Manager • Coordinate with Restaurant Manager for everyday operation and maintain financial and administrative records
Job Requirements
Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years' relevant work experience in the same field or industry, OR have a relevant level 4 qualification or above (equivalent overseas qualification or an overseas occupational certificate can be accepted)

- Rostered 5 days per week between Monday - Sunday from 10.30 am - 2pm and 5pm - 10pm (30 hours per week)
