Forklift Operator

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Te Puke. A busy kiwifruit packhouse environment. The main focus of the role is to safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, and unload goods, including unloading deliveries, supplying packaging materials to packing sheds, handling product into Coolstores or Bin Tip areas, and accurately loading trucks based on orders. You must hold a valid forklift license with at least 3 years of forklift and inventory experience, ideally within the kiwifruit industry or a similar fast-paced setting. Basic literacy and numeracy skills are essential for documentation, along with strong communication skills to support a diverse workforce. The role requires good physical fitness, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a strong commitment to health and safety procedures.

A valid forklift license with at least 3 years of forklift and inventory handling experience Full drivers licence and able to pass drug test Experience in the kiwifruit industry or other fast-paced, high-volume environments Strong verbal English skills with the ability to provide direction and support to a diverse team Basic literacy and numeracy for record-keeping and documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willing to work nights during the busy season
