Process Worker

A local Invercargill employer is currently seeking a Process Worker to join their close knit team.

This is a full time role and tasks include but not limited to: Food preparation including: • Mincing • Cooking • Dicing • Loading and unloading of trays. • Mixing of ingredients • General cleaning of factory equipment • Helping with load outs • Load in of inwards goods

Meal packing duties including: • Weighing and adding ingredients to pouches • Operating packing equipment • Completing paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

Helping in other areas, including: • Packing of finished goods into cartons • Packing of WIP products into Finished Goods • Labelling • Stock Movement

You may also be assigned other duties around the factory as required by management depending on workloads. Applicants must be fit and strong as this role includes heavy lifting.

Applicants will be required to pass pre-employment and random on job drug testing. Applicants should be able to pass a security check with no previous criminal convictions, although the employer may be willing to consider someone with some minor offences on a case by case basis.
