A commercial cleaning company is seeking a reliable and experienced cleaner for school premises. Commercial sites vary between Central, West and South Auckland locations. The role requires a high standard of hygiene and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff. Key Duties: • Perform daily cleaning: sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect restrooms and high-touch surfaces • Empty bins and restock supplies • Carry out deep cleaning: carpet shampooing, floor waxing, glass polishing, and descaling fixtures • Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely • Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals correctly • Report hazards or broken equipment promptly • Keep cleaning records and communicate with supervisors as required

Job Requirements

• Experience in commercial cleaning (preferably in schools or similar environments) • Skilled in using a floor polishing machine • Full NZ driver’s licence and own vehicle • Clean police record (required for school access) • Physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently • Good communication skills and fluency in English • Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand

Regular shifts: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM.Additional hours may be required from time to time, including mornings or weekends, depending on site needs.
