Experienced Roofer

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Roofer with proven skills in installing, repairing, and working with flashings. This role will be casual/on call and involves carrying out quality roofing work on both residential and commercial sites while ensuring all flashing details are watertight and finished to a high standard Key Responsibilities: * Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems, including long-run metal, tile, or membrane roofing * Accurately measure, cut, and install custom flashings (e.g., apron, barge, saddle, headwall, and step flashings) * Work off architectural plans and flashing schedules * Ensure all work meets building code and weather-tightness requirements * Assist with roof framing or preparation as needed * Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment * Communicate clearly with the team, site supervisors, and clients where necessary * Follow all health and safety procedures on-site.

Key Requirements: * Proven roofing experience with a strong focus on flashings installation * Ability to read and interpret building and flashing plans * Skilled in working with hand tools, metal folders, and cutting equipment * Strong attention to detail, especially on finishing and weatherproofing * Full NZ driver’s licence * Own basic tools * NZQA Roofing qualification or one years relevant trade experience * Working at Heights certification advantageous * Site Safe Passport
