Textile Machinery Mechanic

Textile machinery trainee mechanic- full training on all servicing of machines - sewing machine, upholstery machines, embroidery machines,cutters and over lockers. Employer seeks a fit passionate person that has the ability and willingness to learn the electrical and mechanical side of repairing machines. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an interest in this line of work. You will be trained in all aspects of the role and will be expected to learn through a mechanical engineering course, in addition to inhouse training. Previous customer service skills are also a requirement.

Hands on skills, previous customer service experience. A keen interest in mechanical and electrical machinery, must have the ability to learn technical skills. Full licence required as you will be driving company vehicles and must be prepared to travel out of Christchurch at times to service / repair machinery.
