Support Facilitator - High/Complex Needs

We are a leading Hamilton organisation working to empower individuals who have a disability to live life to the fullest and make a positive impact every single day.

As a support facilitator, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to people (primarily those with high and/or complex needs) in all aspects of their daily lives, tailored to their preferences and needs. From personal cares to household tasks, community engagement for social activities and appointments, you will be there to ensure people receive the assistance they require to live the life they want, which may include working alongside whanau, friends, advocates and existing community support networks.

We are seeking candidates with previous support work or caregiving experience, particularly those with experience in high and/or complex needs homes, and who have the relevant certifications. A full driver's license is essential, and candidates must be willing to undergo (and pass) police vetting, MOJ criminal record checking, drug and alcohol screening, and potentially Oranga Tamariki vetting checks, as these align with the legal requirements for working with vulnerable persons.

Level 3 or 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing. FULL class 1 drivers license - non-negotiable. Access to own reliable transportation. Pass drug/alcohol screening, MOJ criminal record checks, Oranga Tamariki vetting and Police Vetting checks. Must have 6+ months experience in caregiving role - preferably experience working with individuals with high or complex needs. Confident and clear communicators
