Teacher Aide

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Teacher Aide to support the learning and wellbeing of our amazing Tamariki at Te Kura o Hau Karetu. This is a fixed-term, full-time position based in the heart of Upper Hutt, working in a warm and inclusive school environment.

In this role, you will be working with Provided individualized and small-group support to children with identified learning support needs.

Assisted classroom teachers in documenting learning evidence and creating instructional resources.

Supported students in maintaining focus, engagement, and participation in learning activities.

Offered toileting assistance to children requiring personal care support. Collaborated with teachers to discuss student progress and develop effective support strategies.

You will also Support student behaviour and foster social and academic growth. Help maintain a clean, organised learning environment. Participate in relevant professional learning and development.
