A leading wholesale and retail supplier of raw pet food are on the hunt for a new team member to join their hardworking crew. This hands-on role involves driving a mobile slaughter truck to local farms, processing animals humanely, and transporting carcasses back to our factory. General tasks at the factory when required. Physically fit and capable of manual labour Knife skills and slaughter experience preferred Reliable, punctual, and hard working Willing to go the extra mile during busy periods Able to follow instructions and learn on the job Team player with great communication skills Strong commitment to health, safety, and best practices Requirements Current Class 2 Driver’s Licence Valid Firearms Licence Understanding of humane slaughter and MPI requirements
Job Requirements
Drive mobile slaughter truck to farms (Class 2 license required) Slaughter animals cleanly and humanely (Firearms license required) Follow all MPI regulations and on-farm policies (MPI accreditation a bonus but not mandatory) Maintain cleanliness of truck and equipment Support factory processing work when required
