Residential Service Support Worker - Night shift

PART-TIME / NIGHT SHIFT: This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people living with various aspects of daily life and supporting personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support.
This role is based in a Residential Facility - Disability support service. Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
This is a part-time position for the night-shift between 3pm - 7am. Minimum of 10hrs per week but may be opportunity to pick up extra shifts. • Rosters will be provided two weeks in advance, with rostered shifts • Availability required from Monday to Sunday (off days will be given)
No experience required however experience is advantageous. Relevant transferrable skills and qualities ideal.
Job Requirements
• Must have flexibility and availability to work rostered overnight shifts and rostered weekend shifts. • Prior experience is not essential as full training is provided, relevant experience, skills and qualifications desirable • Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.
• A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes. • Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.

- Rostered shifts across a 24/7 roster Monday to Sunday - Minimum 10hrs per week. Opportunities to pick up more shifts. (10 hours per week)
