Busy Brazilian restaurant in Albany is looking for a hospo superstar to join their team: • Take food and beverage orders, serve orders, answer questions and attend to customer requests. • Maintain a high standard of table service, using established food handling and serving techniques. • Ensure that customers always receive efficient and courteous service. • Ensure the restaurant is kept clean and tidy. • Ensure all food, beverage and non-consumables are accounted for and charged for. • If requested, inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and clean restrooms when necessary. • Inform the designated management if any hazards are identified that may affect work conditions. Job Requirements
• Relevant qualification or at least 1-year’s experience in the hospitality industry. Training is given but experience would be an advantage. • Good communication skills. • Knowledge and appreciation of Brazilian cuisine would be advantageous, but not a must. • Fluency in Portuguese language would be a big advantage as most of our clients are Brazilian, but not a must. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to multitask, problem solve and act quickly. • Permanent work rights in New Zealand, with no restrictions.
