Experienced Cellar Hand
About this job
You will be independently performing core wine processes such as fruit receival, processing, racking, additions, transfers, centrifuge, crossflow (including high solids), and barrel operations. Supporting cellar operations by following SOPs and maintaining accurate records. Upholding high hygiene standards, reporting risks, and identifying maintenance needs. Assisting with training entry-level Cellar Hands and supervising during Harvest. Pay range will be $29.52- $32.80 depending on experience of candidate.
Job Requirements
1–2 years winery experience; harvest supervision preferred. A Class 1 Driver’s licence is required; forklift and first aid is a plus. Strong initiative to work independently on entry-level tasks. Contributions and insights in team/production meetings. Passion for wine, sustainability and being part of a team. Eagerness to learn, safety-focus, and adaptable style. Flexibility for extended hours during vintage. Training is available to go further up the Skills Based Pay Matrix, but the experienced Cellar Hand should be able to perform core tasks independently with minimal to no supervision. You must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

- Monday - Sunday 7am- 3pm, 40 hours per week Hours outside of these times may be required during vintage periods. (40 hours per week)
