Team Member (General Labourer)

A west Auckland based family based outdoor construction company is looking for their next superstar team member. The employer mainly focus on the construction of boardwalks, bridges, elevated timber staircases, walking tracks, and concrete pathways, as well as performing remedial work and maintenance for parks and tracks.

The employment is casual with the potential to make it full-time for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Construct or demolish timber structures • Ground levelling • Manual digging • Form and maintain walkways • Operation of machinery • Transportation of equipment and materials • General maintenance / tidy of work sites

Essential Skills:

• Basic knowledge of building methods and materials. • Practical building skills. • Basic math skills. • Ability to properly use and maintain tools. • Understanding of building and safety regulations.

Occasional traveling may be needed. You will be required to travel to the base in Henderson in the morning and will be transported to the site by the employer.
