Local health provider looking to recruit a Social Worker who can foster and maintain professional community and agency relationships and join a kaupapa Maori organisation in a fulltime capacity.
You will work supporting whanau and young persons, supporting often complex whanau needs. You will provide assessments and planning, advocacy and access, to ensure whanau can problem solve and are supported to move forward.
Desired applicant will have experience working in Maori environments, great communication skills, administrative abilities, facilitation and time management skills.
Must have the ability to pass relevant checks for police/vulnerable children's act and ability to pass drug/alcohol pre-employment checks if required.
Must have updated CV with contactable references demonstrating your experience and qualifications for the advertised role..
Job Requirements
You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • Have relevant qualifications. • Minimum 2 years experience in the field is desired. • Computer literate. • Have good verbal and written communication skills. • Have a positive, can do attitude. • You must be able to pass a police check and pre-employment drug test and alcohol test, as part of the employment process. • Have a Full Class 1 Drivers License. • Hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency.
