Truck Driver

Sen Ventures Ltd is now seeking experienced Truck Drivers to come and join a dynamic team in the Auckland area to assist with new and ongoing operations. Candidates must have extensive experience in operating heavy trucks. An ideal candidate must have a class 4 License and be able to take and give direction.

Our Focus is underground services, building construction and civil works throughout the greater Auckland region.

Your daily tasks will involve: -Follow instructions, locate and read location and road maps. -Pre-inspect truck. -Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. -Load and unload cargo. -Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. -Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy -Transporting Materials and Heavy Machinery (Excavator, Drilling Machine) between job sites

The successful applicant will have:

* A clean Class 4 license * Must be physically fit and able as there is some manual handling involved * Experience and knowledge of the NZ Transport Industry * A friendly personality, able to communicate well with our customers and staff * A proactive approach and responsibility towards the Health & Safety of yourself and others * The ability to embrace new, industry-related IT technology within a modern fleet environment * The ability to be team player with a “can do” attitude * Flexibility to meet the demands of the operation * Ability to write up logs, safety checklist and incident reports

* Proficiency using a smart phone as Health & Safety forms need to be filled out for each task performed due to the risk involved. * Ability to work at our locations based in Waitakere, Mount Roskill and Waiheke Island as needed
