Do you have a passion for working with children? Looking for a fun, rewarding role that fits around your lifestyle? A well-established before school, after school, and holiday care provider on Auckland’s North Shore is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic team member to join their crew!
What the job looks like: - You’ll be supporting school-aged children with activities that keep them engaged, active, and happy. A typical day during the school term might include: - Setting up fun and age-appropriate games, sports or craft stations - Greeting kids as they arrive and helping them settle in - Supervising indoor and outdoor play - Assisting with afternoon tea preparation and clean-up - Supporting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive environment - Helping pack down and ensuring the space is tidy at the end of the session
During school holidays, the role steps up a notch with full-day programmes packed with themed activities, outings, and team challenges. You’ll be part of planning and delivering exciting days kids can’t wait to come back for.
Job Requirements
- Genuinely passionate about working with children - Experienced with school-aged kids (through work or life!) - Confident communicating in English - Dependable, energetic, and a great team player - Able to remain calm and clear-headed in a busy environment
