Front Of House Supervisor

We are looking for a versatile and energetic All-Rounder Chef to take on kitchen responsibilities while also being prepared to jump into Front of House duties when needed. As a key part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences in the kitchen, while also providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the club’s front desk and communal areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Chef Duties:
-Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality. -Oversee kitchen operations, including stock management, food safety, and cleanliness. -Assist with menu planning and collaborate on specials or seasonal offerings. -Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation.
Front of House Duties (when required):
-Greet and welcome members and visitors in a professional, friendly manner. -Handle check-ins, bookings, and general enquiries in person, by phone, and by email. -Process payments for memberships, classes, and retail items. -Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment both in the front of house and kitchen. -Monitor access to club facilities and ensure guest sign-in procedures are followed. -Assist with event setup and club communications, including notice board updates. -Support health and safety practices, including regular cleaning and sanitization. -Provide basic information about club services, programs, and facilities. -Handle member feedback or complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate manager when needed. -Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable member experience.
Job Requirements
-Customer service or front-of-house experience, ideally in leisure, hospitality, or sports
-Proven experience as a chef or in a similar kitchen role.
-Confident using booking systems, POS, and Microsoft Office
-Strong communicator who stays calm and solution-focused under pressure
-Able to manage multiple tasks and shift between roles as needed
-Confident in de-escalating situations with people of all ages
-Proactive team player with attention to detail
-Eager to help customers and colleagues
-Able to pass Drug Test. Criminal Convictions Case by Case
- Full Class 1 Drivers Licence- Reliable transport

- 30 hours Thursday to Saturday 4pm to 10pm-Club opens M-S from 8am to 1am- flexible special events, functions etc. (30 hours per week)
