We have an immediate need for an Accounts administrator to join our office on a full-time basis for a 12 month Fixed Term contract as maternity cover with potential to turn into a permanent role in fast growing business.

About the role You will be primarily responsible for the accounts administration of our Australian based entity with an opportunity to support the wider finance team of the group. As a valued member of our committed finance team, you will play a key role in effectively overseeing the administrative, accounting and billing aspects of our Australian based entity. Your contributions will guarantee a smooth and streamlined experience for our clients, funders and healthcare professionals. • Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for funders and healthcare staff. • Manage administration and billing. • Support and collaborate with the wider finance and operations team. • Prepare and communicate timely and accurate estimates, pre-payments, quotations and invoices. • Maintain and update process documents, documenting any new processes developed. • Assist with processing accounts payable and perform bank reconciliations. • Complete transactional recording, payments, receipting, and reconciliations of suppliers and vendors. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Prepare monthly management reports. • Support with journals and payroll exposure (helpful to have). • Respond to queries from both external and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements

About you -

Are you the perfect fit for this role? We're looking for a candidate who embodies the following qualities and qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting and financial management or a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to do research to understand new contracts, systems and processes. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and the Microsoft suite. • Sound understanding and proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero and MYOB. • Prior billing experience in the healthcare or medical industry is highly desirable. • Demonstrated business acumen, enabling the understanding and application of billing rules and contract comprehension. • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in tasks and responsibilities. • A positive, team-oriented attitude that fosters a collaborative work environment. • Proven work experience directly relevant to the requirements of this role. • Outstanding interpersonal skills, showcasing adaptability, reliability, and intrinsic motivation. • Previous experience working with Australian based entities is an added advantage.
