Kiwifruit Orchard Workers

We have an opportunity for people who enjoy outdoor work in kiwifruit orchards doing various winter tasks including pruning., are motivated and a good team player for work in various locations around the Te Puke area start date approximately June 2025. This work involves being on your feet and working above head and shoulder height for long periods. You will be require a good level of fitness. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn on-orchard – gumboots are suitable. You will require secured accommodation within daily travel distance. On the job training provided and you will be working in a team, under a supervisor. 30 hours per week weather and workflow dependant. Transport is available from the Te Puke or Pukehina area for a weekly fee of $50.00.
Job Requirements
Full clean driver license required with own transport Must be Drug and Alcohol free Criminal convictions case by case depending on conviction type Experience preferred but not essential Must be able to get to work in the Te Puke area-various locations Must be reliable and hard working with own transport. Previous experience preferred Clean and tidy, bring photo ID, be prepared to talk about yourself, why you are interested in the job.

- Work will be available on a weather dependent basis from Monday – Sunday, 6.30am – 5pm. (30 hours per week)
