About the role Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist or Social Worker looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and their whanau? In this rewarding and dynamic role, you will providing essential wrap-around support to Tangata Whaiora in a service that values and nurtures a whanau-focused approach. You'll draw on your clinical expertise, knowledge, and experience to integrate recovery-focused practices, delivering high quality care that empowers Tangata Whaiora and their families to work towards their personal goals and aspirations. In this role, you'll use evidence-based clinical interventions alongside coaching, professional skills, and collaboration with other team members to create a supportive and empowering environment for those in your care. Duties will include, but not limited to: *Build and maintain positive relationships with Tangata Whaiora and their whanau. *Provide clinical expertise to ensure safe, effective service delivery. *Work alongside Tangata Whaiora to set and achieve meaningful, challenging goals. *Oversee documentation from entry to exit, including assessments. *Empower Tangata Whaiora with the information needed to make informed decisions. About you We are looking for positive, compassionate, and adaptable individuals who can confidently respond to crisis situations and recognize changes in behaviour. You'll play a key role in supporting Tangata Whaiora in a meaningful way. We offer: *A permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week Monday to Sunday in a rotating roster) based in Tauranga Moana. *A competitive salary range of $68037.77 to $102,000.00 with placement determined by your qualifications, experience, and the value you bring to the role. *Learning, development, and training opportunities, inclusive of 5-10 paid study leave days. *Great staff benefits, including store discounts. *3 days of well-being leave.
Job Requirements
To succeed you will need: Full registration with a relevant professional body (HPCA 2203, HPCAA 2003, Social Work Registration, or DAAPANZ). *2+ years of experience in the Mental Health or Addictions sector. *Proven experience creating personalized care plans. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Eligibility to work in New Zealand and full driver's license.
