Class 5 Truck driver

A transportation company is currently looking for a reliable and responsible Class 5 Truck Driver to join their team. The role involves safely operating company vehicles and ensuring timely deliveries while following all regulations and company policies. Job Responsibilities: • Drive company trucks safely, following the 90km/h speed limit and always wearing a seatbelt • Complete daily logbooks and submit mileage, fuel, and toll receipts • Plan routes to meet delivery schedules on time • Follow all transport rules, including vehicle size, weight limits, route designations, and rest breaks • Maneuver trucks into correct loading and unloading positions • Keep the truck clean and report any serious mechanical issues to the manager • Maintain a valid and clean driver’s license • Be physically fit to perform all job duties • Take full responsibility for the truck while on duty If you’re reliable, Puntual, safety-focused, and ready to join a professional transport team, apply today!

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria: • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional driving role • Valid and clean Class 5 Driver’s License • Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the job • Solid understanding of Health and Safety practices and logbook requirements • Ability to carry out routine vehicle checks and report issues promptly • Willingness to work between 30 to 45 hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional work on weekends and public holidays • Flexible to work on a rotating roster schedule • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic • Clean character background • Swing Lift License/Side Loader and Dangerous Goods certification are good to have, but not required
