Shift Manager

A popular and busy tavern/bar based in Otahuhu are seeking reliable Shift Managers to join their hardworking team.

Key duties: -Dealing with suppliers and ensuring accurate stock control and that all products are kept in stock as required. -Arranging pricing and promotion of products (within legal limits on promotions). -Assist in Financial administration of the business and responsibility for profitable operation. -Assist in managing, training and supervising staff, ensuring they are familiar with all aspects of their job and carrying out their responsibilities properly. -Assist in hiring new staff if required and assist arranging rosters, approving leave and arranging cover in case of staff absence. -Ensuring that store operation is run in accordance with any policies which are required locally. -Ensuring store security and help in proper training of staff in all health and safety procedure. -You must be able to work late nights and weekends according to a flexible schedule to suit the company roster.

Must be available for all shifts on a 7 day roster including weekends. Qualifications minimum level 4 or 1 year relevant work experience. LCQ qualification required. You must also pass a drug test and have no serious gambling history.
