Kiwifruit orchard worker

Te Puke based employer is looking for full time casual orchard workers. Work starts from end of May to August-September 2025.
Duties will include- Winter pruning: -Removing old or unproductive canes to encourage new growth, following pruning techniques. -Tying down canes. -Remove pruned material from the orchard row to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Poles and stringing: -Placing poles on AG beams. -Tie strings from poles to wires to support cane placement and vine training. -Ensure strings are securely tied and properly tensioned. Make sure all poles are stable and positioned correctly. Work may be available up to 50 hours per week. Location of work is Pukehina and Paengaroa.

Job Requirements
Applicants must be physically fit and able. Applicants with experience in pruning will be considered. Criminal convictions will be considered on case by case basis. Must have a reliable transport to get to and from work.

- Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm (weather dependent) In wet week, Sunday work may also be required. (40 hours per week)
