Meat Process Worker

A local meat processing plant is looking for Meat Processing Workers to fill a wide range of roles. You could be working in the boning room, slaughter area, in the value add department or in the chillers - wherever works best. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, motivated, and very reliable. Some knife handling skills would also be preferable, but full training is available. You must be able to pass a drug test and police checks (however minor convictions may be looked at on a case by case basis). Applications are available from the Work Broker team, applicants must register for MyACC and request a Pre-Employment Check (Claimant History from the ACC). Job Requirements
Applicants with previous experience would be preferred, however this role is open to all those with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. To ensure a safe workplace, the employer conducts pre-employment drug screening, and those with minor criminal convictions may be considered on a case by case basis.
