A Wellington hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Food and Beverage Team Leader to take charge of daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

As a Team Leader, you'll ensure our service meets high standards, support operational efficiency, and help create memorable moments for every guest.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring friendly, professional, and efficient service always. • Provide guests with a welcoming environment that exceeds their expectations. • Build rapport with regular and VIP guests, anticipating and fulfilling their needs. • Ensure Table, Pool and service areas are kept clean, presentable, and well-stocked always. • Liaise with the kitchen team to maintain timely and smooth food service delivery. • Ensure accurate end-of-shift revenue reporting and completion of cash/charge summaries. • Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and bar equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes. • Maintain high hygiene standards through weekly cleaning schedules and daily checks. • Train, support, and mentor team members to uphold service standards. • Follow all hotel procedures for accurate billing and guest charging. • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations and internal policies. • Assist the Supervisor and/or Manager with the supervision of the Food and Beverage team’s performance whilst on shift, in accordance with relevant brand and service standards, policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

•Experience in a food & beverage leadership role OR strong F&B customer service experience ready for progression. •Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. •Proven ability to manage time, people, and priorities effectively during a busy service. •Must be available to work early mornings (from 6 AM), late evenings, weekends, and public holidays. •A strong sense of initiative, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality. •Must pass MOJ/Drug Test

Days of work
Early morning (from 6am) and late evening shifts they must also able to work weekends and public holidays. Monday To Sunday . (32 hours per week)
