Class 2 and 4 Drivers

Our Christchurch-based company is seeking a reliable and motivated Class 2 and Class 4 driver to join our team for mixed shifts. We provide training to help you familiarize yourself with the role, after which you will be expected to work independently.

Key Responsibilities: Load and unload goods as required. Ensure loads are secured and delivered safely and efficiently. Complete necessary documentation for deliveries. Maintain a daily truck logbook and submit mileage reports to head office. Report any equipment or mechanical issues immediately. Manage routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries. Seek opportunities to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business. Represent the company as a brand ambassador, delivering excellent service in all client and public interactions. Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues or damage to management. Adhere to company policies and regulations. Assist with additional tasks as directed by management, such as maintaining vehicle cleanliness and organizing tools and equipment.

Class 2 Driver Requirements:

A Full Class 2 Driving License (or equivalent overseas license). At least one year of relevant work experience. DG, F, and OSH endorsements (preferred but not essential). The ability to pass a drug test. Good physical fitness and health. The ability to sort freight (if necessary). Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Class 4 Driver Requirements:

A Full Class 4 Driving License (or equivalent overseas license). At least one year of relevant work experience. DG, F, and OSH endorsements (preferred but not essential).
