Retail Supervisor

We are a party accessories, hardware, craft and vape store in Dunedin. We are looking for a professional candidate who can demonstrate excellent leadership and sales skills and who is wanting to grow their career within the party, vape retail industry. Duties include- Manage staff. Conduct performance appraisals, disciplinary meetings and provide feedback to staff. Plan, forecast, report on sales, costs and business performance. Manage cash and payment systems at all times. Plan and implement shop merchandising, layout and customer traffic flow. Manage selling and customer service activities and staff competence. Manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the shop. Deal with sales representatives and suppliers and ordering stocks. Manage, maintain and report all merchandise and non-merchandise stock. Seek and continuously develop knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics. Manage and maintain effectiveness of IT and other essential in-store systems. Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policy-making as required. Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training.

Experience in excel and power point Must be able to work weekends A minimum of 2 years relevant retail experience
