Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for the following attributes: • Must have recent relevant experience working in an Aged Care facility or similar, of at least 6 months • Ability to work well in a team environment • Great sense of humour • Genuine empathy • A calm and professional personality • Ability to think “outside the square” and use initiative • Reliability • Loyalty • Excellent time management • Work in a professional and ethical manner at all times • Manage your workload in an efficient and effective manner • Establish and promote therapeutic relationships with families, whanau, staff, residents and other health professionals • Uphold and comply with the organisational policies and procedures • Promote a high standard of personal hygiene and professional presentation • Work effectively as part of a team and as an individual • Promote the facility bas providing quality care in a safe and homely environment at all times

Must have a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Aged Care Facility in New Zealand. Must have a valid working Visa or the right to work in New Zealand Must be able to pass police vetting
