A learning academy with an entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative and supportive is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join the team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient office operations and providing exceptional support to their customers. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in administrative roles and proficiency in using Xero software for accounting tasks. Key Responsibilities are: Communication Management: - Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. - Draft and send emails to customers, providing information about services and assistance as needed.
Customer Engagement: - Proactively reach out to customers regarding our services, ensuring they have a positive experience with our company. - Maintain a record of customer interactions and follow up as necessary Administrative Support: - Assist in filing and recordkeeping, ensuring that all documentation is organized and easily accessible. - Create letters, proposals, and other necessary documentation for customers, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
-Software Proficiency: - Utilize Xero accounting software for administrative tasks, including invoicing and financial recordkeeping. - Keep records of expenses and assist in financial reporting as needed.
Team Collaboration: - Work closely with other team members to support overall office operations and project completion. - Assist in various administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications: - Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role or similar position. - Proficiency in Xero accounting software is required. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service. - Able to pass pre-employment checks - MOJ check, medical and drug test - NZ Class 1 Driver Licence, or own reliable transport -
