Tamariki Trauma Therapist/Registered Health Practitioner

A local Iwi based in Tauranga Moana are looking for a full time Tamariki Trauma Therapist registered Health Practitioner or the ability to be registered, that is child focused therapeutic interventions but ability to work with the parents also. The purpose of this role is to provide responsive Tamariki and Rangatahi Friendly Trauma Informed Therapeutic interventions within the Tau Ora team to whaiora aged 4 - 17 years of age. A specialised therapist can assist someone who is struggling in response to a traumatic event resulting in poor life outcomes for the individual and whanau. Able to facilitate workshops that have already been developed, as well as individual and whanau inclusive therapy. A relevant tertiary qualification. Current relevant practicing certificate and professional body membership (HPA). Well, established social service and community, Health networks within Tauranga Moana. Good computer literacy. Demonstrates knowledge of health and safety requirements and responsibilities relevant to the position. The role is 40hrs per week, Salary 75k per annum, Training Development 3% salary $2250.00 per annum.
