A South Auckland employer is looking for an experienced restaurant manager. Some of your daily duties: Assistance duties as directed by Manager and Director which include - To ensure the highest level of food and customer service are provided and strive to continually exceed customer’s expectations, To make marketing decision and devise promotion methods, To manage suppliers and products, and control the stock levels, To consult with the chefs on menu planning and purchasing policy, To plan budget and manage the profit and loss, To supervise chef and staff and assess staff competency, To carry out on recruitment and staff training , To communicate with customers, and respond to requests and feedbacks , To ensure compliance with governmental and occupational health and safety Acts and regulations, To implement and reinforce restaurant standards, policies and procedures, To handle complaints effectively and deal with difficult customers, To carry out other duties as directed by Manager and Director. Rostered work 6 days 3pm- 10pm Clear MOJ Preferably have LCQ or management certificate but not essential
