Customer Service & Yard Support Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Car Rental Customer Service Yard Representative. This hands-on role combines frontline customer service with yard responsibilities and administrative duties in a fast-paced rental environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Assisting customers by providing information on products and services, and responding to inquiries in person, by phone, or electronically • Processing bookings, transactions, and documentation related to rental services • Following up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address concerns • Coordinating with internal teams and service agents to ensure timely and accurate service delivery • Maintaining and updating customer records and databases with communication and service details • Identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions, or escalating when necessary • Resolving customer complaints promptly to ensure a positive customer experience • Monitoring service quality and gathering feedback to support ongoing improvements • Performing general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and report preparation • Assisting in the yard, including vehicle movement, inspections, and maintenance coordination

Key Skills & Requirements: • Proven customer service experience, ideally in the car rental industry and/or a yard environment • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise work in a fast-paced setting • Rostered shifts with flexibility required, including potential weekend work • Solid knowledge of cars and basic vehicle maintenance • Highly recommended: Experience liaising with mechanics and understanding maintenance needs • Confident with data entry and tech-savvy; experience with car rental software is an advantage • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Must hold a full driver’s licence • No training provided – must be a quick learner with a can-do attitude • Clean MOJ check and ability to pass a drug test
