Handyperson
About this job
Are you a practical problem-solver who takes pride in quality workmanship? We are looking for three experienced Handypeople to join our Facilities Team in a hands-on, varied role that helps keep our city running smoothly.
As a Handyperson, you’ll provide general maintenance and repair services across a huge range of council-owned and managed buildings and community assets (including marine assets, jetties, boat ramps, libraries, public toilets, Mt Holiday Park, Historic Village, Sports club rooms and carparks). No two days are the same – tasks may include carpentry, painting, water blasting, GIB fixing, kitchen installs, landscaping, and much much more.
You’ll need to be flexible and safety-focused, able to adapt to changing schedules while minimising disruption to tenants and users. This is a team that values initiative, reliability, and a commitment to high standards.
If suitable and interested please email CV to dave.bryan005@msd.govt.nz quoting job ID in subject field.
