Service Station - Retail Supervisor

Location: Glenbrook, Hourly Rate: $29.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-time

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team in Glenbrook. This is a hands-on leadership role in a rural setting, ideally suited to candidates with previous experience in retail, fuel handling, LPG handling, or Lotto operations.

As our store operates daily from 4:30am to 8:00pm, flexibility is essential. You may be required to cover shifts or attend to urgent issues, such as staff absence, break-ins, or other emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategies to grow customer base and boost store traffic • Mentor and support sales staff to meet performance targets • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction • Handle store administration and ensure compliance with company policies • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, layout, and visual presentation • Monitor buying trends, stock levels, and customer feedback • Contribute innovative ideas to improve performance and market share • Manage staff performance and conduct appraisals • Address staff or customer concerns (e.g., complaints, grievances) professionally • Oversee fuel and wet stock management • Ensure security, safety, and loss prevention measures are followed

• Proven experience in retail supervision (fuel station, LPG, or Lotto experience preferred) • Full motor vehicle driver’s licence (essential due to limited public transport in Glenbrook) • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Flexible and dependable – must be available to cover shifts on short notice if needed • Must be comfortable working evening and night hours
