Cook

We are starting to see a significant uplift in future orders for the second half of 2025 which is great news. I am going to be looking for a person to come on board with our team as a cook. Some key points to start are • Minimum hours per week would be 30 hours • This role will be an afternoon/ evening position starting approx. 2pm to 9pm Mon to Fri. • Additional hours and shifts including weekend work will be available as we get busier especially in qtr 4 this year. • There will be a full training and induction programme for the successful person. This will fully train them in all facets of making our popular fudge products and also include health and safety and cleaning guidelines at the end of each shift.

Key requirements for the role include • The ability to lift 25 kg bags of sugar. • The ability to follow a recipe and learn the method for cooking fudge. • Good personal hygiene and the ability to work in a hot environment. • The candidate will also need to complete paperwork at the end of each shift so reasonable reading and writing skills are also required.
