Local Gisborne Company seeking our next superstar Office Service Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our office operations—managing day-to-day administrative tasks, supporting our technicians, and ensuring smooth communication between our customers and team. This is a varied role that requires someone who can multitask, prioritise, and thrive in a busy service-based environment.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will be in charge of these key responsibilities: Customer service – handling phone, email and in-person enquiries Job scheduling and technician coordination using ServiceM8 Invoicing, quoting and supplier management using Xero Accounting Software Data entry and digital file management Processing work orders and insurance claims Stock control and office supply management General administration support to the office and management team
Ideally you will also have proven administration experience, ideally in a service or trades industry Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner High-level computer literacy (Xero, ServiceM8, Microsoft Office Suite) The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive and positive attitude – a true team player!
