About this job

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality service, installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems. You will also play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and mentoring junior team members where necessary.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide professional service and customer support during on-site visits. - Manage all aspects of on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems and equipment. - Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. - Produce timely and detailed service and installation reports. - Carry out general electrical maintenance and emergency repairs. - Perform job-related tasks as requested by management or other department personnel. - Accurately document all materials used from consignment, and ensure EE Job card numbers are applied when drawing materials from wholesale accounts. - Complete all required health and safety documentation daily. - Carry out electrical certification tasks using the CERTIFi platform or other systems as specified. - Ensure electrical registration is current and maintained. - Notify management of any upcoming electrical competency renewals or training needs. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Job Requirements

• Relevant electrician certifications - Electrical practising license • First aid and working at heights cert desired • Clean drivers license, Restricted / Full • 2+ years of electrical experience • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring , and all necessary equipment • Be available to start ASAP • Be able to pass random drug testing • undergo a police check • Have x2 references and an up to date CV • Ability to work under pressure • Customer service focused • Clear communication • Attention to detail • Time management/organisation skills • Tools: Have your own basic kit of tools and work towards more tools as appropriate
