Dispatch Store Person

We are New Zealand's largest furniture retailer, with almost 50 years' experience in excellent customer service we have grown our Logistical operation to cover the nation as quickly as possible.

We are currently looking for fantastic Dispatch Store Person based at our Gisborne store responsible for store dispatch and trucking operations at a retail level. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and effective dispatch of products while upholding our policies, procedures, systems, and processes. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, and physical capability, as it involves lifting and moving furniture.

Responsibilities : • Assembly and dispatch of furniture • Assisting sales team with setting up furniture displays and wrapping floor stock. • Local logistics • Inventory management • Site compliance • Legal Requirements • Health and Safety • Delivery assistance

Skills: • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong ability to build rapport across all levels of the business • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Positive and enthusiastic, not afraid to challenge the status quo • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines • Physically fit, good physical health, ability to lift 20kg

Experience • Warehouse or supply chain experience preferred but not necessary • Proficiency in logistics software or dispatch systems is a plus. • Experience of scanning systems an advantage • Understanding of furniture retail industry • Computer literacy
