Camp Assistants
About this job
This is a hands-on position where both individuals will be expected to assist with a wide range of duties including maintenance, gardening, housekeeping, and office tasks. Flexibility and the ability to handle a variety of jobs is essential, as you will be supporting the Managers and wider team to ensure the campground runs smoothly. Cleaning is the man focus and you will be cleaning 80% of the time. The role is physically demanding and includes rostered shifts that cover weekends. The schedule follows a 5 days on / 2 days off and 4 days on / 3 days off rotation, with a total of 7 on-call nights every fortnight. Please note that on-call responsibilities may extend outside standard working hours and are not suited to those looking for a standard 9-to-5 role. This is a 12-month minimum commitment, and applicants will ideally be a couple.
Job Requirements
Only New Zealand citizens, residents, or those with a valid NZ work visa will be considered. A clean police record is required, and all successful applicants will undergo a Police check. MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 2 years relevant work experience.
