Parking Warden

New Zealand’s leading security company, trusted since 1939 is currently seeking parking wardens to join our team in Whangarei. You will assist our parking team and enforce parking requirements in accordance with relevant legislation, by actively issuing parking infringements to non-compliant vehicles. Be of a resilient character to handle tense, sometimes difficult confrontational situations with tact and professionalism. You can cover a fair amount of Whangarei streets and parking areas. Full training and development provided. Full uniform including shoes. Stable employment. Support and positive work environment. You must be physically fit and the ability to walk long distances. Customer Service driven person who can interact with people of different cultures and walks of life to enforce parking requirements in accordance with relevant legislation.

You must consent to and be able to satisfy pre-employment checks to progress through the recruitment process. As a minimum these will include: Driver Licence, Credit, Ministry of Justice Criminal History Check, Immigration. Full clean Class 1 Licence. Applicants must be 18 years or older and have no criminal convictions which would prevent from obtaining a Certificate of Approval (COA) to work in the security industry under the Private Investigators and Security Guards Act 2010.
