Conservation Field Worker

1. Preplant and maintenance spraying. The RFW (Restoration Field Worker) will maintain our client’s native plants. Typically, this involves the use of herbicide administered with knapsacks and hose reels or by other mechanical and manual techniques 2. Manual Planting. The RFW will be involved in all aspects of manual native plant establishment. 3. Machine Planting. The RFW will be involved with mechanical planting using a planting machine. 4. EcoGuarding. The RFW will be involved in the installation of plant protection to seedlings. 5. Field Based ClipGuarding/CombiGuarding. The RFW will be involved with the installation of field-based plant protection systems. 6. Macrophyte Clearing. The RFW will be involved with the removal of water weeds from streams and waterways associated with our client’s projects. 7. Willow and Woody Weed Control. The RFW will be involved with the control of willow and other wood weeds at our client’s properties. This will require the use of hand tools
Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a drug test,and police checks. Will also need own transport, as no public transport available to get to initial pick up point.
