Builder's Labourer

The role includes: • Work as a team to complete the requirements of the project • Working hands-on with various applications and uses of insulated panels with the complete construction of a portable building - including welding steel frames, installing ply floors, fitting windows and doors, installing partition walls, etc. • Working with power tools and general warehouse machinery • Measuring, cutting, preparing, fixing, and cleaning various building elements during the construction process • Construct and install structures such as walls, flooring systems, external stairs, paneling and partitions using mechanical fasteners such as nails, screws, and brackets • Final checks and preparation of each portable building before it leaves the warehouse • Driving skills required. Successful applicant will need to be able to drive truck and trailer transporting mobile cabins from yard to site etc. •Some requirements to travel to Auckland and around Northland for work.

Construction experience - at least 2-3 years Steel Welding experience Proven leadership skills Effective communicator Reliable and honest Solid health and safety knowledge Follow a systematic process Full Drivers Licence Ability to work independently High standards of workmanship Problem-solving skills Be fit and able to lift up to 25kgs Driving skills, ability to drive and back truck and trailer carrying completed cabins. Ability to travel around Northland and Auckland for work.
