Landscape Carpenter – Full Time Location: Hamilton, Waikato Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday

A well-established landscaping company, proudly operating in the Waikato region for over 10 years, is seeking a skilled Landscape Carpenter to join their experienced and dedicated team. This role offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual with solid outdoor carpentry experience to contribute to a range of high-quality landscaping projects across Hamilton.

About the Role: The Landscape Carpenter will be responsible for delivering a variety of carpentry tasks including the construction of decks, fences, pergolas, and retaining walls. Working from detailed plans, the carpenter will ensure projects are completed to a high standard. The role may also involve supervising small teams on-site, making it ideal for someone who is confident, reliable, and capable of leading by example.

Key Responsibilities: • Complete a variety of landscape carpentry tasks such as decking, fencing, pergolas, and retaining walls • Interpret and work from construction drawings and site plans • Cut and assemble materials accurately using appropriate tools and techniques • Manage on-site responsibilities and supervise small crews when required • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s proven experience in carpentry, ideally within a landscaping context • Ability to read and follow technical plans and construction drawings • Confidence with a wide range of tools and equipment • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills • Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence • Ability to pass Ministry of Justice background check • Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug testing • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working both independently and in a team
