Support Worker
About this job
Pounamu community mobile service provides care and support for whaiora/whanau to achieve their Recovery and Well-being goals in their local community. This is done by ensuring an integrated approach by working closely with colleagues, community providers, clinical teams and other external teams to encourage community participation. We are looking for people who are resilient, solution-focused, naturally energetic, have a passion for giving things a go, and have a genuine interest in supporting people to achieve goals and learn new skills and develop community connections.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have the following: A Level 4 (or higher) qualification in Mental Health and Addiction or be working towards one Be culturally responsive and non-judgemental Experience in the mental health sector Be able to use IT systems confidently - we use various databases such as Record Base to record client information, and Akoranga our learning management system along with other IT applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel Full NZ driver's license

- Rostered shifts Monday to Sunday 8:00am to 10.00pm (40 hours per week)
