A Mount based employer is looking for Kaiawhina Support Worker with a great Can do attitude and is adaptable to support the role of tangata whaiora and their whanau through a range of services, from residential care to community based support. The focus is on empowering individuals with mental health needs and or intellectual disabilities to live meaningful lives within their communities.

Key Responsibilities Advocate for tangata whaiora and support their aspirations. Provide guidance while respecting individual autonomy. Promote mana enhancing practices in all interactions. Demonstrate inclusive and culturally appropriate support. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies.
