We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Civil Construction Labourer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role involves physical labor and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:

Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, setting up temporary structures, and ensuring the site is safe and ready for construction activities. Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment. Transport materials to designated areas on the site. Concrete Work: Mix, pour, and spread concrete. Assist in setting up forms and molds for concrete structures. Excavation: Dig trenches, holes, and foundations manually or using machinery. Ensure proper depth and alignment as per project specifications. Structural Assembly: Assist in assembling and dismantling scaffolding, braces, and other temporary structures. Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and tools, such as jackhammers, drills, and compactors, under supervision. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor. General Labor: Perform other general labor tasks as required, including site cleanup, assisting skilled tradespeople, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. Team Player: Strong ability to work collaboratively with others and follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of basic safety practices and willingness to adhere to safety regulations. Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to understand instructions and convey information effectively.
