About this job

You will play a key role in the evaluation lifecycle of Te Kura’s programmes, embedding structured evaluation and reflective practices to ensure that insights from programmes and resources are effectively captured, shared, and used to inform decision-making.

In fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service transparency, your responsibilities will include: • drafting clear and effective survey questions, • implementing evaluation strategies and data collection methods, • monitoring evaluation progress and resolving any arising challenges, • analysing both qualitative and quantitative data, • preparing comprehensive reports based on findings, • providing advice on best practice approaches.

Occasional travel within New Zealand will be required to support Te Kura programmes. This will involve being responsible for technical set up and audio-visual experience.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will bring: • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience, • Strong technical skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, • Excellent interpersonal abilities with clear and effective communication skills, • A proven track record in customer service, demonstrating active listening, a solution-focused mindset, professionalism, and a positive approach, • A high level of initiative and self-motivation, with a focus on setting and achieving goals, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges, • Sound judgement, discretion, political awareness, resilience, and the ability to handle confidential matters with tact. • Must have an updated CV and cover letter
