Are you an experienced Field Operator looking for a new and exciting opportunity? A leading Civil Construction Company is seeking Field Operators in Taupo who are skilled and motivated individuals to join their dynamic team and contribute to their continued success.

Your duties will include but are not limited to: - Collaborate with team members to plan and execute daily tasks. - Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. - Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or issues. - Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth coordination of work. - Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed to required standards. - Provide assistance and support to colleagues as needed. - Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines in all aspects of work. - Respond to any emergency situations promptly and appropriately. - Report any incidents, accidents, or near misses to the appropriate personnel. - Maintain a clean and organised work environment to improve efficiency and safety.

Job Requirements

Must pass pre-employment Drug Test Convictions considered case by case. Must have a Positive attitude, good communication skills, and honest. Experience operating Class 2-4 (or willing and able to sit Class 2 and/or 4 licence).. Ability to follow directions and take directions from supervisors and team members. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques. General labouring skills is beneficial. Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary. Must be non-smoking/vaping

Preferred / advantageous: Experience operating an excavator (with WTR endorsements) TC or STMS certifications (preferred) Experience installing utility services (advantageous) Experience operating Horizontal Directional Drills (advantageous, but not necessary). WTF endorsements - Traffic Control or STMS – Level 1 First Aid Certificate (an advantage)

Monday to Friday (07:00am - 06:00pm) Note: Finish time varies (40 hours per week)
