Client Service Advisor

Join this large Government agency as a Client Service Advisor, providing vital front-line support to the public across a wide range of services, and contribute to the operations of the Customer Service Centre

You’ll handle inbound calls and emails, offering accurate, empathetic, and timely advice across over 90 service lines for this organisation and other government agencies.

Key Responsibilities: • Deliver advice and information within a regulatory framework • Manage diverse client needs with professionalism and empathy • Explain complex legislation in clear terms • Use multiple systems to resolve queries and maintain records • Contribute to continuous service improvement.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills - Strong problem-solving, resilience, and time management abilities - Be naturally empathetic, and be able to deal with complex issues - Experience in a contact centre or customer-facing role preferred - Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment - Sound judgement and a commitment to integrity.

Requirements: - Criminal history check required - NZ citizenship or Residency essential - Proficiency in English and IT systems, with good typing skills - Previous customer service experience essential - Be available to work shifts Monday to Friday 8 hours a day starting at 12pm or 2pm. - Be available to work 9am to 5pm for the first 4 weeks of paid training.
