Burnham: To accurately manage the weighing and mixing of ingredients according to the diet formulations provided, ensuring the production of high-quality specialty feed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

-Ingredient Preparation: Manually scoop and weigh dry micro-ingredients for each formulated diet as specified. -Ingredient Transfer: Transfer mixed ingredients into the feed mixer manually and operate machinery (e.g., auger) to add other ingredients into the mixer. -Pellet Press Operation: Start up and monitor the pellet press, clearing blockages to ensure smooth running and optimal performance. -Maintenance: Regularly clean, sweep, and maintain a tidy work environment and machinery. -Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts to move raw material ingredients into the mixing area and transport finished feed into tot bins and load-out zones. -Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health, safety, and biosecurity procedures. -Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain responsibility for your own health and safety and the safety of others. -Strictly follow all procedures, rules, and regulations related to health, safety, and biosecurity. -Report all hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses promptly. -Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as required by the Feedmill Manager.

Job Requirements

- Be able to pass a pre employment medical check which includes: Drug, alcohol, lung capacity, eye sight, hearing, &physical capability test - Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. -Experience with measuring quantities of ingredients as it’s crucial the recipes are followed carefully. -Licenses: Valid, full, clean driver’s & a Forklift license. - Have your own way to and from the work site. - Technical Skills: Competent to operate various machines (feed mixer, auger, pellet press) and forklifts efficiently. - Communication: Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and task execution. - Have reasonable numeracy and literacy - Need physical stamina and strength due to the physicality of the job. - Be available to start ASAP - Health & Safety: Sound knowledge of health, safety, and biosecurity protocols in a feed manufacturing environment.

Monday to Thursday: 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday: 4:00 AM - 10:00 AM (42 hours per week)
